In 2023, the association "Les Têtes de l'art" invited me to take part in the Franco-German Youth Congress. The role of our artistic team, made up of 5 artists, was to accompany the group of young organizers on the artistic dimension. For this edition, the intention was not to be part of the official program, but rather to create performances and installations that would both disrupt and enrich the event in a poetic way. Three preparatory stages between January and July 2023 paved the way for the final event in September 2023 at the Stollwerk in Cologne. Stage 1: Cologne - January 2023. Meeting with the young people and the artistic group, location scouting. Stage 2: Marseille - June 2023. Between artists, definition of the narrative framework of our interventions and design of participative workshops to gather the creative content for the final event. Stage 3: Berlin - July 2023. With young people, creation of the "hack'art" artivist group mascot and creative writing workshops. Stage 4: Cologne - September 2023. Final event with several hundred young people, installation of poems in public spaces, poetic demonstration and dissemination of watercolor painted signs, gospel singing and a ten-meter banner with a selection of dreams written by the young people.

To take the time to discuss, to talk about ourselves and our civilisation - all at the same time. To reinvest our relationship with the world. To our environment. For the time of a concert plus a collective tarot reading. This is the simple proposal that we have set ourselves to offer to people who wish to take part into it. You can find here the pictures of our performance at the Unifying Gates Festival (Nov 2021) in Berlin. The group of participants for the tarot was then extended for the first time - with 20 people.

We were lucky to stay in a very nice villa (see below). It was an occasion to make a bench of watercolours, a technique that I have recently started and that I truly love ! Here is a collection of pics from my sketchbook. Enjoy !

I created a tarot deck in A3 format with ten cards representing our ecosystem from the micro (the molecule) to the macro (the solar system). Our experience invited participants to share their stories, dance and reflect on a specific question that they formulated altogether. We have also scheduled our experience at Coucool festival in July and it will hopefully nurture our next BIMBIM art journey "Mother earth" (in preparation).

Participants were discovering the neighbourhood, going from one urban sketch to another, finally finding the final installation in Tempelhofer feld - with a last challenge to perform. Winners of the art hunt won a print from an artist of Ilali Studio. Fun project, to be done again :)
